The Basketball Club is always on the lookout for students interested in helping facilitate the Club’s growth on campus.
Whether it be helping run scrimmages and Club events, or assisting with recruiting new Club members, Sydney Uni Basketball Club appreciates any help provided by its student members.
The bigger the Club can grow, the more services it can provide its members.
gameday roles
In 2024, Sydney Uni Basketball will feature in a number of inter-varsity competitions throughout the year, most notably the UBL.
These competitions often require considerable volunteer support in roles such as score bench, floor wiping and general gameday operations.
Volunteer roles in basketball operations provide Club members with valuable sporting industry experience.
coaching roles
Sydney Uni Basketball pride itself on offering basketball programs for students and members of all skill levels and ability.
In 2024, Sydney Uni Basketball will seek to offer development programs to Club members who wish to develop a number of skills including ball-handling, shooting and passing.
Volunteer coaches will be required to run such programs, with experienced Club members encouraged to express their interest.
